Use spoiler tags when discussing the plot of this movie! It's been out for a bit, sure, but it's under-the-radar and becoming known/popular by word of mouth.

Discuss and/or be intrigued by an assassin/revenge/action flick that raises the bar for not-straight-to-DVD action movies going forward!

Right now it's on HBO. If you haven't seen it, give it a try!

Maybe I'll watch it.

People should really stop using protagonists' names as movie titles though (unless they are a known historical figure or something).

I am discounting points of your Harry Potter's fan card for that comment Supes. For actions flicks any name works, and for half of this movie who is John Wick is a mystery.

It was sleeper Hit you would only hear about by recommendation. The plot is quite simple, but the elements built in the film create a larger world that I hope is explored in the sequel.

It was fun.

Yes, in that way it was an excellent love letter to Elmore Leonard.

I really loved how much they built the film's criminal underworld without it ever feeling like it was pulling you out of the story. And it really did leave you wanting more. I know a sequel is in the works but honestly I would love to see any crime-based story using the setting.

I really do have to watch it again the next time I'm able.

If you haven't seen this yet, you probably should. They're casting the sequel, and spoilers are likely going to be abound soon.
