Hasn't the rape and sex slavery been there since the beginning?

Everybody rides a bike here. It's why this country is the only European country that hasn't significantly increased the average body weight per person in recent years. In fact, it slighly decreased. But it's annoying when you live in a college town like me and all the foreign students ignore all the traffic rules because they never rode a bike before.

Also she's going to a Christian school? Gross. My future political platform will include sending all the royals to public school.

It's the bureaucratization of the sex slavery that's the thing.

But anyway, I can't believe your Princess rides a bike to public school. Like first, no armed escort in a bullet proof limo? And second, public school?
So inspiring!
I had no idea there was even a Princess! She looks just like a regular kid.

Here, upper-middle class and up kids are chauffeured to private schools.

Edit: And I'll have you know that plenty of Americans ride bikes. For recreation. Occasionally.

Down to Earthness is allegedly part of the Calvinist Dutch tradition. John de Mol, the guy who invented Big Brother, Deal or No Deal, The Voice and a bunch of other TV platforms, and is therefore filthy rich, doesn't even have a chauffeur.

Also, make no mistake, she may look like any regular girl, but the Dutch Royal Family is the most expensive royal family in the world. While everyone burdens under austerity, the king and queen both get a yearly salary of around 1 million for a ceremonial function, they paid for a new boat with their own money (which is also tax money so not an excuse)at the cost of 700k, which needed a special wharf which also cost a good buck and is paid by the state. And they're also renovating the palace they will move to in 2017 at the cost of 35 MILLION euro.

Two newscasters were shot by a gunman on live tv today in virgina.

So sad.

QUOTE
A television reporter and a videographer for a CBS affiliate WDBJ7 in Roanoke, Va., were shot and killed Wednesday morning as they were doing a live report. The incident was caught on film and those at the station said they heard six to seven shots and then nothing as the camera fell.

The incident happened around 6:45 a.m. at Bridgewater Plaza — a shopping and entertainment center on Smith Mountain Lake in Franklin County — where the two were interviewing a woman with a local chamber group. Few details were immediately known, said officials with the WDBJ7.

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe said a suspect has been identified and is believed to be a disgruntled employee of the TV station. Federal law enforcement officials are aiding in the search for the gunman.

European royal families are trying to make a "we're just like you...no really...we are...look selfies..." push. They learned "normality" was a popular move after Diana send her kids to a "normal" kindergarten.

As for Calvinist tradition? It comes down to three things...cake and copious amounts of coffee/tea (<---the most important part) and acting down to earth/pious. Trust me, I was raised in it.

Sad indeed.

I would bring up gun regulation, but at this stage it just seems like a waste - it will never pass or even get to a hearing...

Just to add - article misses allegations that he was let go at previous jobs for being "difficult" to work with.

Continuously updated article from the Guardian:
QUOTE
Virginian Governer Jim Gilmore says: 'The gun is not the issue'. Gilmore rejected claims that current gun controls are insufficient.

So now Republicans are calling for mental health care reform - which is great, because that desperately needs to happen. Unwell people need to be able to get help. Only the GOP won't support any funding for programs that make that possible, because they don't support early health care screenings.

The whole thing is sad and horrible and two people shouldn't have died.

Maybe the political stuff is better in the politics forum? I don't know...I'll let the mods or LP decide, since she started the thread.

Checks the thread name..god your right. It's too late or early - I need sleep. The caffeine clearly isn't cutting it anymore. Don't post and insomnia at the same time.
